Finals time already!!
GAHHHH, I honestly have no idea how this happened so quickly but I just had my last class of the term?!?!? Ummm I am not o.k with that. Three days of finals stand between me and a giant table piled with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and the greatest people I have in my life... a.k.a my family.
This term has been hectic and crazy and busy and I can say that I have learned way more than a lot. And I am already looking forward to next term starting already.
I am also REALLY looking forward to something that many people in Erie wouldn't mind going without... winter!
It is BY FAR my favorite season. You get all the great stuff, Christmas decorations, SNOW, blankets, cool hats and mittens, boots, hot chocolate, and my favorite COLLEGE BASKETBALL!!
That's right peeps I am a fanatic of college basketball, more specifically the DUKE BLUE DEVILS!
I am also really looking forward to starting my internship again in January. I will be keeping you updated on being an intern and a full time student, because believe you me, it is the hardest craziest, most intense thing; and you will love it.. at least i did/do.
O.K. There really isn't a lot more to say except GO LAKERS (PSAC Championship Football game THIS SATURDAY!) and fingers crossed finals go well!
Rachel's thought of the week: Check out Tyler Ward (youtube) not only does this guy do amazing covers he has some spectacular original pieces as well, and totally worth checking out!

Hello.. November?!
November already?!? WOW! Really where does the time go these days? It honestly feels like I just got here and was starting classes. Needless to say I wouldn't mind things slowing down.. just a bit.. FINALS ARE COMING!! The
Ok here's the thing guys I had an Epiphany. What did I realize? I realized that Mercyhurst teachers are awesome! Ok ok I already knew that but lately it's been made extremely clear.
First of all I am taking this core class (Because we're a liberal arts school you have to take core classes along with ones that go along with your major) and it's called British Classes. AND IT'S AMAZING. Well the class is alright, but my professor Dr. Roessner makes it so incredibly awesome!
Secondly, I'm not going to lie to y'all numbers and myself DO NOT MIX! I am currently taking Accounting I and I honestly thought that it was going to be the death of me. Again my AMAZINGLY AWESOME teacher Ms. Hanes actually makes me understand everything... yes that is a first!
My Public Speaking teacher Dr. Zaphiris is pretty freaking cool too, she if possible makes giving presentations fun. TRUST ME ON THIS ON GUYS!
One of the things that I learned after having college classes is to not write off a class just because "you're not good at it" honestly all you probably have to do is put a little extra work into that subject and you'll get it. And it'll feel that much better getting the grade because you worked at it. (Plus if you go to Mercyhurst all the teachers, especially the kick butt ones in the business school are always willing to help!!)
Rachel's thought of the week: Always say please and thank you. (And if you come to Mercyhurst take Penny Hanes for any accounting class you can! :] )
